The Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship

Today’s scholarship, the Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship, is is from the Education and Leadership Development Program of the Jackie Robinson Foundation.  This scholarship aims to assist minority high school students in paying for their college education.  Students must demonstrate financial need and plan on attending a four year college or university to apply for this scholarship.  The scholarship committee will be primarily be looking at the leadership potential of applicants.

Other scholarship eligibility requirements include:

  • Students must be graduating high school seniors
  • United States citizenship
  • Minimum of a 1,000 on the SAT or 21 on the ACT

Where can I find the scholarship application?

The application can be found online and students must also submit a letter of recommendation (the recommendation must be submitted online) and send official standardized test scores (SAT or ACT).

When is the scholarship deadline?

The deadline for this scholarship is February 15, 2015!
