F.M.A.F.E. Scholarship

FMAES

Today’s scholarship is sponsored by the Former Majority Association for Equality (FMAFE) which is an organization that believes that “race and gender has no place on any application.”  I am sure you have noticed that there are not many scholarship simply for white males (we actually have not found any), so the F.M.A.F.E. Scholarship aims to help that demographic. It should be noted that the F.M.A.F.E. has no racial agenda [...]

The Stuck at Prom Scholarship Program is a classic and one of the stranger scholarship programs that exists. With spring approaching, this is a rather appropriate scholarship program.  The scholarship is pretty simple: students have to design prom accessories and/or outfits that are made entirely from duct tape (not duck tape).  To get some ideas, you can check out what Google Images has to say.  You can also take a [...]

ED’s College Net Price Calculator Student Video Challenge

College can be an expensive investment.  This past year, the federal government required colleges and universities to have something called the net price calculator on their websites.  The net price calculator simply estimates the “actual” cost of a particular college.  With student loans on the rise, this is a wonderful tool to help students and their families determine the cost of a college.

Courageous Persuaders Scholarship Program

Underage drinking is a huge problem in our society.  Each year CourageousPersuaders.com sponsors a video contest for high school students to talk about the dangers of underage drinking. This opportunity is open to ALL high school students in grades 9, 10, 11, and 12.  Specifically, the video should be a “TV commercial targeted at middle schools students.”  The program encourages students to be creative, but stresses that the message (anti-underage drinking) [...]
