Charley Wootan Grant Program

The Charley Wootan Grant Program is currently being offered by the Texas Guaranteed Student Loan Corporation. This program is awarding nearly $5 million in grants to students ($4 million to Texas residents, $1 million to those outside the Lone Star State). James R. Hoffa Memorial Scholarship

The James R. Hoffa Memorial Scholarship is currently being offered by the International Brotherhood of Teamsters for high school seniors. One hundred and fifty scholarships will be awarded this program year, and thirty-one of the awards total $10,000 each. These four-year scholarships are disbursed at the rate of $2,500 per year and are renewable annually. The remaining 119 of the scholarships are one- time $1,000 grants.
