Exposure Film Scholarship

Valiant Pictures, an “innovative production company,” is currently offering the Exposure Film Scholarship to high school students. In recognizing that one of the most valuable aspects of the film industry is guidance and connections, this contest involves a $500 scholarship in addition to “one-on-one industry guidance and mentorship from Valiant producers and directors.”

Radio Television Digital News Association Undergraduate Scholarships

The RTDNA (Radio Television Digital News Association) is currently offering their annual scholarship program to undergraduate students. These scholarships are open to enrolled students (freshmen excluded) who are pursuing careers in radio and television news. All winners will also receive an expenses-paid trip to the RTDNA National Conference in addition to the scholarship money itself.

2012 Fred Rogers Memorial Scholarship

Today’s scholarship is the 2012 Fred Rogers Memorial Scholarship.  This scholarship is open to all graduate and undergraduate students who are attended accredited college or universities.  This scholarship awards four separate scholarships, each of which are worth $10,000.In addition to this, winning applications “are mentored by children’s programming professionals during the academic year.”  One of the four scholarships is specifically for students who live in the Pittsburgh (PA) area.

The Fred Rogers Memorial Scholarships

The Fred Rogers Memorial Scholarship (named in honor of the man perhaps better known as Mr. Rogers) is currently being offered by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. This program awards four $10,000 scholarships and, in addition to the scholarship money, successful applicants are mentored by children’s programming professionals during the academic year. This scholarship program is open to undergraduate and graduate students (Masters or Ph.D.) of accredited colleges or universities.
