Little People of America Scholarship Program

Today’s scholarship is the sponsored by the Little People of America. The Little People of America is a non-profit organization that brings support, education, and information to people of short stature caused by the medical condition known as dwarfism.  Membership to LPA is also to family, relatives, and interested professionals who work with people of short stature.

2012 Sharps Scholarship Program

American Foreign Service Association Scholarship Program

Bill Dickey Scholarship Association Scholarship Program

Today’s scholarship is the Bill Dickey Scholarship Association Scholarship Program which (as you may imagine) is sponsored by the BDSA.  This scholarship is for students who are play golf!  To be eligible, students must be high school seniors or college/university undergraduates who have received the scholarship before.  Additionally, students must have a minimum of a 2.5 GPA and must create a database profile on the scholarship website.

The Alaska Community Foundation Scholarship Program

FWQA’s National Capital Environmental Scholarship Program

The FWQA’s (Federal Water Quality Association) National Capital Environmental Scholarship Program is currently offering at least three $2,000 annual scholarships (renewable annually for up to three additional years) to Washington, D.C.-area high school seniors accepted to college to pursue careers in the environmental sciences. “Careers in the environmental sciences” can involve study in fields as diverse as chemistry, biology, environmental sciences, environmental engineering, civil engineering, chemical engineering, and natural resources planning.
