Daughters of the American Revolution American Indian Scholarship

The Daughters of the American Revolution is a non-profit organization for women who are descended from American’s involved in the Revolutionary War.  In addition to their goals of preservation and education, the DAR offers a variety of scholarship opportunities for students.  Some of the deadlines have passed, but there are some awesome opportunities available.

NSPA Journalism Scholarships

  The National Scholastic Press Association (NSPA) is currently offering many scholarship programs to students journalists. 2012 TruFit Good Citizen Scholarship

Today’s scholarship is the 2012 Citizens Bank Scholarship Program which is sponsored by Citizens Bank.  This scholarship is for students who have been “good citizens” in their communities.  We profiled this scholarship last year, but it is opening again for 2012 on April 1!

NSHMBA Scholarship Program

The NSHMBA Scholarship Program (National Society of Hispanic MBAs) is currently offering a scholarship program to assist qualified Hispanic students to pursue MBAs. Awards range from $2,500 – $10,000, and the top five full-time applicants who demonstrate financial need will receive an award for $10,000.

CalCPA Accounting Education Scholarship

Today’s scholarship is the CalCPA Accounting Education Scholarship.  This scholarship is for students who are pursuing a Masters degree in Accounting or Taxation.  To be eligible, student can not be CPA licensed  in any state and cannot have completed the requirements for the Pathway 2 licensure in CA. The George J. Mitchell Scholarship Program

We hope that you all had an awesome St. Patrick’s Day!  Today’s scholarship is in that spirit and is for students who are interested in doing postgraduate work on the Emerald Isle!  This scholarship is the George J. Mitchell Scholarship Program.  George Mitchell was a United States Senator who was famous for his contributions to the peace process in Northern Ireland.

Linda Lael Miller Scholarships for Women

Today’s scholarship is the Linda Lael Miller Scholarships for Women Scholarship Program.  If you are not familiar with Linda Lael Miller, she is a popular romance author.  Even if you are not a fan of the romance genre, this is a scholarship opportunity worth checking out.  The LLM Scholarships for Women program is for women who are over the age of 25.
