Today’s scholarship is the James L. and Nellie M. Westlake Scholarship Program. This scholarship is for students in Missouri. To be eligible for this award, students must either be graduating seniors at high schools in Missouri or students who have finished 1 or 2 years at a Missouri community college. In either case, students must be planning on taking up full-time study at a four-year college or university in the upcoming academic year! High school students must have at least a 2.5 GPA and community college students must have a minimum of a 2.25 GPA.
This scholarship is need-based and families must “demonstrate limited financial resources with a family adjusted gross income of $50,000 or less and an expected family contribution of $7,000 or less.”
This scholarship covers the entire cost of tuition AND up to $2,000 for books and other expenses!
