Today’s scholarship is a video contest which is sponsored by a variety of organizations including, the National Marine Educators Association, the Ocean Today Kiosk, and The National Ocean Sciences Bowl.  As you can imagine, this video contest has an environmental theme and deals with ocean and marine issues.

To be eligible for this scholarship, students must be in high school and must submit a video on the theme of “A Sea of Change: Development and Evolution.”  Videos should be 1 to 2 minutes in length and include the following components:

  1. NOSB Video Splash Clip
  2. Opening Title Information
  3. Closing Credits
All videos must be sent in DVD, CD, MiniDV formats (Quicktime, Windows Media, or Windows AVI files are all acceptable)

Interested students can get the Video Competition Packet off of the scholarship website.  The scoring rubric and some other details are also located in the packet.
