In the past, Scholarships360 has profiled a scholarship available to students based off of a single tweet- in this case, said scholarship was a full ride ($37,000) to business school. Today we are pleased to profile a second, similar scholarship- the Free To Tweet Scholarship, sponsored through 1 for All, an affiliate of the Newseum.
This $5,000 scholarship requires students (ages 14 to 22) to tweet their support of the First Amendment on December 15, 2011 with the hash tag #freetotweet, which will enter them in the “Free To Tweet” competition. Your tweet should include a link to original content on a website or other social media platform where you further explain your views. Essentially, the tweet is not the entire application, but will guide the judges to your essay, blog post, video, etc.The best part of this scholarship competition? 22 total scholarships are being given away.
