Today’s scholarship is the Georgia McHugh Scholarship Program, which is made possible through Soroptimist International of San Francisco (SISF).
The scholarship is worth $5,000 and honors two high school seniors “for scholarship, leadership and community service.
To be eligible for this scholarship students must:
- Be seniors in a San Francisco, California school
- Residents of California
- Plan attending a four-year university in California
- Maintain a 2.75 GPA
Additionally, financial need will be considered for applicants. The application can be found online and includes a 250 word personal statement. Scholarships have to be postmarked by February 15, 2011! They can be sent to:
