The Arabian Horse Foundation is a non-profit organization (affiliated with the Arabian Horse Association) which supports education, research, and youth programs that deal with the Arabian breed of equine.
Each year, the Arabian Horse Foundation sponsors a scholarship program for students who are studying at an undergraduate or graduate college or university. The scholarship committee will be looking at the following factors in applicants:
- Financial Need
- Academic Ability
- Leadership
- Equine involvement
The scholarship package must include a completed application and the following materials:
- Copy of the student’s most recent transcript
- Copy of ACT or SAT scores
- Two letters of recommendation
- Photograph (optional)
The application includes a few short answer questions:
- Explain why you have chosen your career goal
- Describe your equine involvement for the past two years
Completed applications are due April 1, 2012, so there is plenty of time to get started!
