The Philip Jaisohn Memorial Foundation offers a variety of scholarships to Korean American students. There are four separate scholarships offered by the foundation:
The Helen Lee Scholarship, for students with extreme financial need (2 recipients, $1,500 each).
The Han Ah Reum Leadership Scholarship, for students who have shown excellence in leadership in a variety of activities such as extracurricular activities, sports, and community service (2 recipients, $1,500 each).
Bong Hak Hyun Memorial Scholarship for a student planning a career in health care and medical area with evidence of potential, passion and leadership (1 recipient, $1,500).
Taiwon Suhr Journalism Scholarship for a student who is planning a career in journalism with evidence of potential and community services (1 recipient, $1,000).
To apply, you must submit a Personal Statement, a resume, a transcript, a letter of recommendation (1 or more), an essay, documented evidence for financial need, and a brief statement on how you can contribute to and be involved in the activities of Jaisohn Foundation (max 100 words).
