
The Insurance Scholarship Foundation of America (ISFA) is currently offering a number of college scholarships to college juniors and seniors whose course of study is working toward a degree in Insurance, Risk Management and Actuarial Science.
The specific amount of the scholarship (multiple of which will be awarded) can range from $500 to $5,000. Applicants must be a candidate for a bachelor’s or higher degree with a major or minor in insurance, risk management, or actuarial science, be currently attending a college or university and be completing or have completed the second year of college, have successfully completed two insurance, risk management, or actuarial science courses having a minimum of three credit hours each, achieved at least a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale, and not be receiving full reimbursement for the expenses of tuition, books, etc., from an employer or from any other outside source.
The Spring Award Period is currently open; applications for this period must be submitted by January 15, 2012. A PDF version of the ISFA scholarship application can be found on the scholarship website. Best of luck!
