Wally Davis Scholarship

The Wally Davis Scholarship is the type of scholarship that we value at Scholarships360; criteria-specific (thus less competition), but worth a fairly large dollar amount. This scholarship, offered by the Hispanic Bar Association of Orange County, is for students of Latino origin and who are involved in the Latino community. The scholarship website states that priority will be given to students with strong ties to Orange County, but this does not mean that others are not considered! This program awards two $7,000 scholarships to be used towards general law school tuition.

The application for the Wally Davis Scholarship is fairly straightforward- a resume, 2 letters of recommendation, a copy of undergraduate or law school transcripts, a copy of your parents’ most recent US Income Tax Return, a personal statement, and the 4-page application.

All materials must be submitted by October 31, 2011. You can submit your completed application to:

Hispanic Bar Association

P.O. Box 6130

Newport Beach, CA 92658

Attn: Scholarship

Winners of the Wally Davis Scholarship will be notified by November 30, 2011. Best of luck!
