The NPELRA Anthony C. Russo Scholarship

NPELRA2 300x117 The NPELRA Anthony C. Russo ScholarshipThe NPELRA (National Public Employer Labor Relations Association) Anthony C. Russo Scholarship has been awarded every year since 1996, and has awarded fifteen $2,000 and twenty-two $3,000 scholarships. This generous scholarship program, in keeping with the aims of NPELRA, is for human resource, labor and industrial relations, public administration or political science graduate students with an interest in labor and employee relations and the public sector. This year, the scholarships will be awarded in the amount of $3,000 each.

To apply for this scholarship, check out the NPELRA Anthony C. Russo Scholarship online application. In addition to the application itself (which has space for a number of short essays), NPELRA asks for a resume, recommendations from at least two faculty members, your final undergraduate transcript and your most recent graduate school transcript. The online application indicates a preference for two types of applicants- current NPELRA members, and students currently working for state, local, or special district governments.

This application is due September 30, 2011, and should be emailed to foundation@npelra.org. If you wish to submit the application via snail mail, or physical documents must be sent, send your application to:
