Tonight’s scholarship is the Womenetics Advancing Aspirations Global Scholarship which is sponsored by Womenetics. Womenetics is a really interesting site that is a “business media platform providing substantive information for and about women.” As you might imagine, their scholarship program has to do with women’s empowerment.
This scholarship is open to both male and female college students who are passionate about female empowerment.
There are multiple scholarship awards available and they range from $1,500 to $5,000 each.
This scholarship is essay-based and candidates will be judged on “thoroughness of answer to the essay question, quality of research, clarity of writing and neatness of presentation.”
There are two separate sets of essay questions from Georgia-Pacific and Discover. Students are encouraged to apply to both the Georgia-Pacific and Discover sets of essay questions. The Georgia-Pacific questions are due August 12, 2011 and the Discover questions are due September 16, 2011.
