One of the best parts of the summer is baseball season. From little league to Major League Baseball, nothing says the summer like America’s favorite pastime.
In the spirit of baseball, today’s scholarship is The American Legion Baseball Scholarship.
This scholarship is open to all students who play baseball for an American Legion team. Eligible students must have graduated from high school and must be nominated by their team manager or head coach.
The scholarship application for The American Legion Baseball Scholarship can be found online and includes three letters of recommendation. Letters of recommendation are very important to the scholarship committee and must include recommendations from:
- The student’s American Legion team coach or manager
- An American Legion Post Commander or Adjutant
- A community leader (such as a teacher or priest)
