One of the most overlooked expenses in college are textbooks. Simply, textbooks are really, really expensive! DirectTextbook.com is a really awesome site that allows you to compare the prices of textbooks. Sort of like Kayak.com, but for textbooks! DirectTextbook.com is also offering a really great scholarship contest for students!
This scholarship opportunity is open to both high school and college students and awards $1,000 to first place and $250 to the runner up.
The scholarship application can be found online and includes an essay. The essay asks applicants to answer the following question in a 500-word essay:
“What is integrity? How does integrity apply to your life?”
The deadline for this scholarship is July 16, 2011!
