The PinkRose Foundation is a really wonderful non-profit organization that supports the educational endeavors of people who have been affected by breast cancer.  Since 2003, the PinkRose Foundation has awarded 82 scholarships of $1,000 each to students who have lost a parent to breast cancer.

These scholarships can be used for any post-secondary course of study including college, community college, graduate school, or certificate training program. The scholarship website goes over the necessary paperwork for applicants to submit along with their application.

The scholarships application is also available online and includes an essay on the impact of breast cancer on your life.

The deadline for this scholarship is August 31, 2011 and applicants can send completed applications to:

The PinkRose Foundation, Inc.

P.O. Box 4025

Dedham, MA 02027

Best of luck to all applicants!
