The Warren JeMarcus Williams Foundation was started by Cynthia and Warren Williams in honor of their son Warren Jr. Warren Jr. was a freshman at Gainesville College who was very active within his community. He tragically passed away in 2006 after hypertropic cardiomyopathy during a basketball game. This is a wonderful scholarship opportunity for students who show promising leadership. This college scholarship opportunity is available to high school seniors who plan to attend a two or four-year college in the United States. Students must also demonstrate financial need and have a minimum SAT score of 1000 (Math and Critical Reading) or an ACT score of 21 (composite). The testing codes for sending in your scores are 4248 for the SAT and 6570 for the ACT.
The scholarship committee will be judging applicants on leadership potential and community service.
Applicants must also send in a letter of recommendation along with their application.
The application and recommendation form is available online. Applicants can also mail in their applications to the Foundation:
