Connecticut Nurses’ Foundation Scholarships

Connecticut Nurses Foundation ScholarshipsEach year, the Connecticut Nurses’ Association (a division of the American Nurses’ Association) offers a number of scholarships to those interested in the field of nursing. The majority of these scholarships (scroll to the bottom of the page) require applicants to be residents of the state of Connecticut, although a few (such as the Dr. Sheila Packard Scholarship) only require that applicants attend a college or university in Connecticut (and are pursuing a degree in nursing). Although I did not check every single scholarship on the CNA’s extensive scholarship page, it appears that most (if not all) of the scholarships are due on June 15th. Because these scholarships are for different types of students (a few are pure scholarships, some are more like research grants), the applications vary. If you are pursuing a nursing degree (and especially if you are also a resident of Connecticut) make sure to check these great and numerous scholarship opportunities out.

In the article concerning scholarships: It is under the Connecticut Nurses Foundation (CNF) where readers will find the scholarship applicatons. The Connecticut Nurses Association does have a link to them but the direct route is http://www.ctnursesfoundation.org
    Thank you.
    Sincerely,
