Ayn Rand Essay Contests

Ayn Rand was one of the most prolific writers of the 20th century.  There is an essay contest in her honor every year, which not only is a really impressive accomplishment, but comes with a nice cash prize.  While the contests for her novels Atlas Shrugged and Anthem are not until this upcoming February, there are two essay contests due this Spring.  With this said, it might not be a bad idea to check out her books and think about the essay topics.

For interested applicants, the essay due for We the Living is due May 5, 2011. The essay for Rand’s acclaimed The Fountainhead is due April 26, 2011.

All applicants must be juniors or seniors in high school.
